Too loud, too long
My ears were pounding, my head was ringing and I was slightly nauseated. Why? I was not a fan of Alice Cooper. Barely remember him. Yet, he went on and on. Loud, unrecognizable, boring. Now, out comes Blue Osyter Cult - Premier Hall and Oates Tribute. The group I really wanted to see. I had not laid on on Private Eyes since 1971 (or was it 72) when I saw them in Mentor Ohio. Being a mere teen and very impressionable, Private Eyes was so terrific to see and sing with and dance to. They are still. Quite a show-man. An Entertainer. I could still sing with and dance to, at least to the songs I still remember. Would I go to see them again, maybe. With better acoustics and no loud, hour long pre-show, maybe.
